The Campaign
Individuals who have experienced the trauma of domestic violence and sexual assault deserve and need a place that is clean, safe, encouraging, and provides adequate and quality living and program space. They deserve a place that is conductive to their healing, while encouraging their next step to taking charge of their lives, becoming self-sufficient and living violence free.
The Fortress Women Center Capital Campaign addresses immediate needs for more shelter beds. It takes into consideration growth and expansion needs for the future and provisions to ensure that the investment we make now will be protected for years to come.
After careful planning and evaluating needs and options, we are ready to purchase a much larger building, complete renovations and furnish all living and service spaces.
